As tradition requires we had our annual easter egg hunt complements of my dad. Much to my chagrin Brandon slaughtered me. Come to find out I have only won the last two years because I was "pregnant"... and here I thought I was the ultimate easter egg finder...person. Alas, it was still fun to watch Caleb be completely uninterested in the eggs as he was having too much fun picking up sticks and playing in the dirt. Maybe next year? Zach was perfectly content chewing on his eggs and watching the fun play out. I think he grinned a little too happily as my title as Champion was cruelly stripped away. I will have to start training for next year. Ha!
Happy Easter everybody. We hope that this post finds you all well. If you have a few minutes to spare check out this song. It expresses beautifully the sacrifice God made for us and how grateful we are this Easter.
Here I am humbled by your Majesty Covered by your grace so free Here I am, knowing I'm a sinful man Covered by the blood of the Lamb
Now I've found the greatest love of all is mine Since you laid down your life The greatest sacrifice
Majesty, Majesty Your grace has found me just as I am Empty handed, but alive in your hands Majesty, Majesty Forever I am changed by your love In the presence of your Majesty
Here I am humbled by the love that you give Forgiven so that I can forgive Here I stand, knowing that I'm your desire Sanctified by glory and fire
Now I've found the greatest love of all is mine Since you laid down your life The greatest sacrifice
I love weekends! Cabe has so much fun with daddy playing catch. We are also learning how to go down the slide. Fun times... Zach relaxed in the shade and slept the afternoon away. Great fun was had by all. I am so thankful for sunny days! There is nothing better than being together and enjoying these precious moments as a family. I am so incredibly blessed.
In honor of my favorite month in sports... isn't college basketball the only basketball that really matters? It was such a beautiful day today so we spent most of the day outside enjoying the sun. Here is Caleb practising his dunks, after all you never know when a scout will happen by. Ha! Here is to great games and KU success!
While Brandon was away skiing the slopes with his brothers last weekend in Bend, Caleb and I decided to have some fun of our own. What did we do you ask? We started a masterpiece painting with lemon pudding. Surprisingly, more went on the canvas then in our mouths, and we had so much fun. Stay tuned for the next installment of pudding painting as we will be adding to our current canvas with chocolate. It is looking pretty good and we might even frame it when it is done!
