Last weekend we went camping with our church. It was a memorable weekend. The weather was freezing. I think it was a little shocking to the system to go from 110 degrees to 38 degrees. The boys had a competition to see who could come home the dirtiest, we made some new friends, but the highlight was Brandon getting baptized! Caleb summed it up nicely. After the baptism was over Caleb looked up at me with a very serious look and said, "Mom, seeing daddy get baptized was insanely good." Yes it was.

Honoring Grandpa

A couple weeks ago we went to up Seattle to celebrate the life of Brandon's grandpa Leo. He will be remembered for his great love of family and his quick whit and humor. One of my favorite memories of Leo is sitting around the breakfast table listening to his corny jokes or just spending time reading the morning paper together. We will miss him...

Catching up...

It has been so long since I posted something I am not sure where to begin. Since I last posted we have moved to our new house, had visits from my grandma, brother in law, mother in law and had many fun outings with the boys. I don't have enough brain power to do this systematically, so I will just post what I feel like. For now here is a picture of the outside of our new dwelling place. I will post more pictures when we unpack all the boxes. Sadly, the tree in the picture (which I was very excited about) is a lost cause.

Inside Campout

About a month ago it seemed like it would never stop raining. We were cooped up and needed to do something different to keep the boys occupied and mom and dad sane. So...we pitched the tent in the boys room and had ourselves a camp out. :)
