Sacramento Zoo

Since the Sacramento Zoo is far from spectacular, we decided that now would be a good time to take the kids. If they get any older I think they would realize just how depressing it really is. The weather was perfect and the boys enthusiasm made for a smile filled day.

A couple of months ago Cabe started going to preschool one day a week. This has been good for Caleb, but also has allowed me time to spend time with just Zachary. With Zach's easygoing personality he often gets less attention than his brother. Zachary and I have really been enjoying our tuesday morning's together. Here are a few pictures.

Snow Day

A couple of weeks ago we decided to join some friends for a snow day. We loaded the boys up and drove until we found some snow. We ended up setting up camp on the side of the road in a clearing marked No Trespassing. We didn't notice the sign until the "boys" igloo was nearly complete. I am sure the owner of the property will be pleased by the addition. :) The snow was a bit crusty, but softened up when the sun came out. It was the first time Zach had really ever played in the snow and it was a day of mixed reviews. Overall we had a great time. I am not sure which "children" had the most fun though. Brandon and David played harder than anyone.

Zachary

I wish I could share the sweetness of my little Zachary with all of you. He brings me so much joy. He has always been a talkative little guy, but lately he has been singing. Here is one of his favorite songs, sung with less enthusiasm than usual. I think he was a little camera shy.

Birthday Blessings...

Last weekend we celebrated my 30th Birthday. The boys slept in until 7 which was the first blessing. :) We had a lovely day together just spending time as a family. Here are some highlights captured on camera...
